Whether you're buying a gift for a fitness enthusiast friend, or writing your own list for Santa, here are my top 10 picks for fitness gifts. These picks go beyond the usual gym gear and offer unique ways to boost health and well-being.

1. Airestech EMF Modulator

In today’s tech-heavy world, exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMF) is a concern for many health-conscious people. The Airestech EMF Modulator is designed to reduce EMF exposure by neutralising harmful frequencies around you. It’s a small device that can be placed near your workspace or living area, helping to create a calmer, healthier environment. This gift is perfect for anyone who spends a lot of time near electronics (or anyone who has a mobile phone!) and wants to protect their body’s natural energy.

My favourites: The LifeTune One - Perfect for attaching to your devices (with its recent price decrease to just $79.99)

The LifeTune Go - Wear it for EMF protection wherever you go The LifeTune Zone Max - Larger area coverage. Great for your home.

2. Down To Ground Earthing Mattress Cover

Earthing, or grounding, is a practice that involves connecting your body to the earth’s natural electric charge. The Down To Ground Earthing Mattress Cover allows you to experience this benefit while you sleep. No effort needed! And you get grounding for a solid 8 hours a day (depending on how much sleep you get!) Made with conductive materials, it helps reduce inflammation, improve sleep quality, and increase energy levels. For those who prioritise recovery and rest, this mattress cover is a thoughtful gift that supports overall health. $15 off with code MARK27683

3. Vivobarefoot Shoes

These are by far my favourite shoes. For someone who tries not to wear shoes as often as possible, I have a disturbing number of pairs of these! From walking boots to gym shoes. Vivobarefoot shoes are designed to mimic barefoot walking, encouraging natural foot movement and strengthening muscles. They offer excellent grip, flexibility, and comfort, making them ideal for running, walking, or casual wear. These shoes are a great gift for anyone who values functional fitness and wants to improve their foot health.

4. Hydronos Water Bottle

Staying hydrated is essential for fitness and health, but many water bottles don’t do more than hold water. The Hydronos Water Bottle structures your water using Miron glass - a unique glass that filters out harmful wavelengths of light, while allowing beneficial wavelengths of light though (Infrared & UVA).

Infrared and UVA rays from the sun change the structure of your water, making it easier for your body to absorb and use.

This isn't just any old water bottle! I use mine daily!

Grab yours here: Hydronos Water Bottle and use code MOVEBETTER for a cheeky discount!

5. Blue Light Blocking Glasses

Many fitness enthusiasts also spend hours in front of screens, which can disrupt sleep and cause eye strain. Blue light blocking glasses filter out harmful blue light emitted by phones, computers, and TVs. Wearing these glasses in the evening supports better sleep quality and reduces headaches. They make a simple yet effective gift for anyone balancing screen time with an active lifestyle.

Block Blue Light are my go-to's. Use code MOVEBETTER for 10% off from me!

6. Sunrise Alarm Clock

Waking up naturally can set the tone for a productive day. A sunrise alarm clock simulates the gradual increase of natural light to gently wake you up. This helps regulate your circadian rhythm, improve mood, and boost energy levels. For those who struggle with early mornings or want to enhance their sleep routine, this clock is a thoughtful and health-focused gift. I've had mine for over 10 years and it's a game-changer!

No more harsh alarms waking you up in the dark! Wake up gently and gradually.

7. Red Lights and Salt Lamps

Similar to the need for Blue Blocking Glasses to help reduce blue light exposure at night, using red lights can also help with this. Of an evening, you won't find us using harsh, bright LEDs! No overhead lights. It's night-time at home, you're not in Wembley Stadium!

Grab some Himilayan Salt lamps and dot them about the house for a nice, warm glow (we have them in every room!).

And get yourself a motion sensor red light for the bathroom (remember to use code MOVEBETTER for 10% off or grab some from Amazon)- often the brightest room in the house it's the last place you want bright lights. Use these at night so you don't disrupt your circadian rhythm.

8. Flow Rope

This isn't a skipping rope! This is one of the best tools I've found for training your brain and body to Move Better! It'll train your left and right sides for better coordination and timing, smooth movement and coordination.

And even better yet, IT'S FUN! Massiveley addictive and beneficial.

It'll take some practice to master it, but that's a huge positive as you learn a new skill.

Grab a rope here and then check out YouTube for some tutorials (try David Weck, Edward Troise and Tim Shieff)

9. My Books! The No Diet Fat Loss Blueprint and The Ultimate Sleep Solution

Books can be powerful tools for health education and motivation. The No Diet Fat Loss Blueprint offers a sustainable approach to weight management without restrictive dieting. The Ultimate Sleep Solution dives into strategies for improving sleep quality, a cornerstone of fitness and health. Gifting these books provides knowledge and inspiration that can transform habits and results.

10. Steak

Ok, so this might sound crazy, but I want to start a new trend - #GiftASteak

Instead of buying people chocolates or alcohol, or flowers that'll be dead in a few days, or a gift they don't want; when you go to someone's house, take them a steak.

Teachers... Colleagues... Your PT (😉)

Stop buying stuff they don't want and definitely don't need and gift them something amazing - STEAK!

A nice, juicy, grass-fed slab of cow meat. Way better than a crappy, budget secret Santa present!

Let's start something - gift a steak and then post about it on social media! #GiftASteak
